About Coreen

Coreen has 20+ years working as a vocal coach, music educator, published author, curricular advisor and author. She has been a performing artist since age 14 and has toured worldwide as a lead vocalist. Her passion for music, voice, and performing live is what drives Coreen to help coach not only her celebrity clients but also vocal artists of all levels. Coreen’s philosophy is “You have one voice to last you a lifetime in your career” and her mission is to help you understand how to maintain a healthy vocal condition.

Coreen has written vocal technique and performance curricula for Musician’s Institute Hollywood, CA, nine Musician’s Institute Japan schools, Osaka School of Music-Japan, Fukuoka School of Music-Japan and Taipei School of Music-Taiwan.

Coreen received the Vocal Instructor of the Year Award (2008) and Curricular Appreciation Award (2014) from Musician’s Institute Hollywood, CA. She was also nominated for the Grammy’s Music Educator Award (2013 & 2014) recognized by The Recording Academy and Grammy Foundation. Coreen has instructed several vocal workshops at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California and recent lectures about Voice Production & Performance Skills, Artist Development, and Image & Branding at UCLA Extension.

She has written two instructional books with Hal Leonard Publications entitled "Rock Vocals" and the co-authored "Five Star Music Makeover".

 Coreen continues to work in her Los Angeles, SW FL studios, Online, and abroad with artists and bands worldwide, training them for voice development, strengthening, recording, performing live, showcasing, TV auditions, and live performances like The Four, The VoiceAmerican Idol, and X-Factor.
